You can claim the expense only if you itemize as a misc deduction on Sch A and only get a benefit if the total of those misc deductions is greater than 2% of AGI.

You will enter this under Deductions & Credits.

Log into your Federal return,

go to Deductions & Credits,

Scroll down to W2 Job Expenses.
