I didn't adopt a child. I can't file my taxes bc it says I need to fix adoption error. Turbo Tax says no child is listed,but wants me to answer questions about adoption!

I see no one has responded to this, so here's some info that may or may not help.  I don't know much about that topic, but I can tell you how to get to the Adoption Credit section of the interview.  If adoption doesn't pertain to you, it may be that you answered a question wrong or started the adoption interview by mistake. 

Use this shortcut to get to the adoption questions.   If the adoption interview had been started previously by mistake, it should take you to an adoption summary screen where you can delete it (trash can icon.)

• With your return open, go to the left menu column and click on TAX TOOLS, then subtab TOOLS.
• In the Tools popup window choose the blue button TOPIC SEARCH.
• In the search line enter adoption benefits without quotes.
• In the selection list highlight adoption benefits and either double-click on that or click the GO button.

ADDENDUM

In addition to the info I left you above, I found another adoption question in the interview.  If you listed any dependents on your return, there is also an adoption question in the MY INFO section when you go through the dependent interview.    After you enter the dependent info, on a subsequent screen titled "Less common situations" there are several check boxes about the dependent, and one of the check boxes asks if it pertains to an adopted child.
