You can claim your home repairs if your renting the home out cause it's considered a business, but if it's your own home you live in then no no can't claim

If you have a qualified home office for a business, you can claim the repairs as part of your Home Office deductions on Form 8829.  Also, if it is a rental property, the repairs can be claimed on Schedule E.  However, if it is only a repair on your personal residence (with no business use), then the repair is not deductible.
