I cant put my mortgage interest in. The program has .00 in and will not let me change it. HELP

Delete any 1098 entry that you have in the section and re-enter it.

In your open return, select My Account
Tools
Topic Search
Type '1098' in the box, then select GO

When you land on the Mortgage deduction summary page, select the trash can next to the entry. Then add it back in.
