What I had to do was: switch into 'forms' view; right click on the property tax field, select add supporting details. I had apparently used supporting details previously, and it forced me through that process. I hope that helps.

my brother has Alzheimer's and lives in a facility, but I file using my address. is the the principal residence for state tax?
