I bought crypto in '17. Moved some in '18. Sold some in '21. I can only upload my csv export from '21. How do I share the past years data too? Do I need to?

I only really made money in '21 but am not sure if it's considered long term gains since '17 and '18 is when I did most of the purchasing.

become familiar with "holding period".

holding period one year or less, Short Term.

holding period more than one year, Long Term.

If the cryptocurrency that you sold in 2021 had been held for longer than a year, then it is considered to be a long term gain/loss.

You don't specifically need to upload your data from 2017 or 2018, but you will use that information to determine the purchase date and cost basis for the sales that occurred in 2021.
