I bought a house this year, Is there anything else besides my 1098 that i should consider?

Yes.  The other major deduction from home ownership is real estate taxes.  Your share of the real estate taxes for the year you purchase a home is shown on the HUD-1 form you received at closing.  Be sure and enter that amount when you do your taxes next year.
