I bought a home and my 1098 doesn't list my mortgage insurance but it is on my final closing sheet. Is this ok to deduct ?

Since you have documentation for the PMI, you are fine.  However, to avoid possible paperwork down the road, you could ask the 1098 issuer to give you a corrected form and/or add a note of explanation at the back of your return explaining the facts.
