I am supposed to receive the Child Tax Credit of $2,000 but Turbo Tax is giving me the Other Dependent Tax Credit of $500. How do I update? I've deleted child/re-entered.

How old is your child?    You lose the CTC for the year in which they turn 17.  Once they are 17, you only get the $500 credit for other dependents.    or.....is the child a baby?   For a newborn you have to say in My Info that they lived with you for the WHOLE year.

They turned 17 in November. Since it was the end of the year, does that still count?

They had to be under the age of 17 on 12/31/2023.
