I am self employed and I use my personal vehicle for business. My car was totaled in April and I got a new one. How do I put both in my taxes?

Indicate under the Business Vehicle Expense section for your business, that you stopped using the vehicle and the date. Continue on to enter the mileage/expenses up to the disposal date.

Continue with the interview to enter the details regarding the disposal of your vehicle. When complete with the prior vehicle, you can then add the new vehicle on the summary page.
