I am married filing jointly and have two children. We qualify for the EIC b/c our AGI is less than $50,597 but the the program says our kids don't qualify when they do?

See below for the question that asks how long the kids lived with you.  Make sure it's The whole year.

Go back and check the My info section of your input:  there may be something that's not right in there.

Sometimes it's putting how many months during the year that they lived with you.  A child that was born during the year gets put as having lived with you all year, as does one who's going to school.

Thanks for the reply.  Yes, I did go back and check all personal info like you suggested and it looks correct.  I even erased all info entered in my return and re-entered everything with the same result.  The program says both our kids (ages 7 and 9) didn't live with us for for more than 6 months.  Not sure what else to try?
