If you are a US citizen or green card holder, you need to file a US tax return annually no matter where you live and declare your worldwide income. If you worked in India, you will have to declare your Indian wages earned in calendar year 2019 on your US return. The US allows a foreign earned income exclusion whereby you can exclude up to $105,900 of foreign earned income in 2019. TurboTax can help you with this.
You will need to calculate your foreign earned income for the 2019 calendar year and use the 201 annual exchange rate to convert to USD before entering your wages into Turbotax (If you have been paid in INR).
