No, there are no known software issues regarding mortgage interest.

One thing that you can double-check in the mortgage interest section of your return is that you did indicate that the interest is 'secured by a property' that you own. If this is answered 'no' instead of 'yes', then the mortgage interest is not deducted.

Yup, that was the issue. I had updated the 1040 manually before your message, but your suggestion is the fix. Highly suggest that you guys/gals surface that potential pitfall somewhere in your online help. If it's there, I missed it. Thanks
