I am International student on F1 visa status and Non resident. I have lived in US from August 2014. I have filed my 2015 tax return through turbotax. Is that okay or not?

I am International student on F1 visa status and Non resident. I have lived in US from August 2014. I have filed my 2015 tax return through turbotax. Is that okay or not?
Generally, a student temporarily present in the U.S. under an "F," "J," "M," or "Q" visa, who substantially complies with the requirements of the visa is considered a nonresident alien.
A nonresident alien should File a Nonresident Alien Income Tax return, Form 1040NR, not Form 1040 (offered by turbotax.com)

Please note that Amendment in Turbo Tax is not available until Mid-February. You should not try to amend your return until it has been fully processed and you have received your refund or your payment has cleared.
