I am a sole proprietor using turbo tax. I receive my income via a 1099 (no deductions). Can I use the QBI path and deduction?

Sorry no withholding from 1099. I do itemize.

Yes, if the income is on the Sch C then you can take the Qualifed Business Income (QBI) deduction.
