I am a Constable and I referee basketball. I receive 1099's for both. can I deduct my uniforms/equipment and mileage for both? And what about my insurances?

Yes, if you are self-employed you can deduct expenses that are reasonable and necessary for the work. 

Yes, if the uniforms and equipment are only used for the job, you can deduct those expenses. 

Yes, you can deduct insurance. 

You can deduct mileage, but that depends on whether you have a home office. If you work from home (to do the bookkeeping) the milage all counts. If you go to a work location, the milage from that point is used.
