I accidently put that I had $300 in a HSA. It was actually a FSA. I was not part of a HDHP. I went back and changed it but in the federal review it still shows up.

If you inadvertently added a contribution to the HSA section, you will need to delete the Form 8889 that is generated for it. 

Note: Be careful! Once you delete, it is gone for good. You will have to re-enter data if you delete by mistake.

  • Select My Account
  • Tools
  • Delete a Form
  • Scroll list to locate the form(s) and delete.

You will not enter any FSA contributions in your return, as they are already reflected on your W-2 form.
