I accidentally chose the alternative tax credit for vehicles, but my car doesn't qualify. Now my return won't be filed because it's requiring the federal form tied to it.

If you would like to remove Form 8910, Alternative  Motor Vehicle Credit, you can delete it by following the steps below:

  1.     Open your return, if it's not already open.
  2.     In the bottom left, click on Tax Tools > Tools
  3.     In the pop-up window, select "Delete a form"
  4.     Click Delete next to the form or schedule and follow the instructions to remove the form/schedule.
