HSA withdrawl being deducted from Out of Pocket medical expenses

Can anyone help me? I entered my 1099-SA for my HSA withdrawals, and also itemized a significant amount of out-of-pocket medical expenses which were above and over my HSA withdrawals. For some reason, after entering my out-of-pocket expenses, TurboTax is subtracting my HSA withdrawal amount from them.

For example, I have $1k in HSA withdrawals. I have $7k in out-of-pocket medical expenses. When I click "Done" with my out-of-pocket expenses, it shows only $6k in out-of-pocket costs. Why are my HSA withdrawals being deducted from out-of-pocket expenses and what can I do to correct this?

HSA withdrawl being deducted from Out of Pocket medical expenses

Turbotax makes an assumption that the amount you included in medical expenses included those paid through HSA withdrawals. You need to add the HSA withdrawals to medical expenses then after Turbotax subtracts them you'll have the proper number.
