How to switch from Itemized Deductions to Standard Deduction

I'm using TurboTax Deluxe, the windows version. I itemized deductions but want to switch back. My income was less than the standard, so I want to suppress Schedule A. How can I do that?

I can't log onto my account. I'm using the windows version, not an online version. Does anyone have information about how to do that in the Windows version, other than deleting the file and starting over?

You can tell the program to switch to standard. Follow these steps -

Log into your account
Click Take Me to My Return Button
Select Federal Taxes
Click Deductions and Credits
Scroll to the bottom and click Wrap Up Tax Breaks
Program will run an analysis and you might get a few more questions
You should get to a screen entitled "We've Chosen Itemized Deductions for You" (see screenshot below)
Underneath there will be a small checkbox that says Change My Deductions
Click this and you will be able to change to Standard Deduction
