To Enter Your Job-Related Expenses:
- Select "Federal" at the top of the page
- Select the "Deductions & Credits" sub-tab
- Scroll down to "Employment Expenses" and select
"Show More"
- Select "Start/Revisit" next to
"Job-Related Expenses"
- Select "Edit" next to your occupation(Or enter it
when asked)
- Continue through the next few screens answering questions until
you are asked to enter your vehicle info
- If you drove you can also deduct mileage when you get to that screen
- Choose to enter your actual expenses when asked and you
will arrive to a screen to enter gas expenses, tire expenses, oil expenses, parking etc.
