How to change 1099-SA info

I don't know what info you want to change, so my answer will be generic.

First re-enter the HSA interview - do a Search for hsa (lower case), and jump to the result.

Click Edit on the Your HSA Summary screen.

Click on Continue on the next screen (Tell us about your health-related accounts in 2018).

The next screen should be a table of your 1099-SA entries. You can either press Edit for the 1099-SA that you want to edit, or you can just delete the offending 1099-SA and then click on "add another 1099-SA" to re-add it.

After you make any changes in the HSA interview, be sure to go all the way to the end of the HSA section before jumping to another part of your return.

so I had this issue. I put my info as the payer and I already filed my taxes.do I need to amend my taxes?

How to change 1099-SA info

It depends.  If all of the amounts were completed correctly on the 1099-SA screen and your return was accepted, you likely do not have to amend your tax return.

However, be sure to retain a copy of the 1099SA Form you received, with the correct payor information, as well as proof of medical expenses you paid with the HSA funds, in case you should receive a letter from IRS asking for more information.

If the amounts were entered incorrectly, or you did NOT answer the question correctly as to whether the HSA funds were spent on qualified Medical expenses, then you will have to amend.

Here are some helpful links with more detail in case you do need to amend your return:
