How do you correct an entry when TurboTax has transferred the information from your Federal return to your State return? The Net Income amount is correct on my AR1050, P1 Line 23, but the ordinary business income P4, Line 1, shows a different amount.

I can clearly see the section 179 deduction was for some reason not included on the P4, Line 1. It is not letting me correct the number. I do not know if I need to start over, and hope this time the information transfers correctly. If I try and override it, it creates more errors. I don't know what to do. TurboTax found no errors when I completed my Federal return, so I do not know why there would be an error now, when I did not do any of the entries on for the State return, it was all tranferred over by TurboTax. The Income amount is correct on P1, and yet that is the box that is pink. and wanting me to correct.

TurboTax transfers data from your federal return to your state return. Before you begin troubleshooting your state return, go back through your federal return and make sure everything is correct.

After you review your federal return, select the State Taxes tab and review the state section. Pay close attention to the information, especially if you have made changes to your federal return. There might be new sections that need to be completed.
