How do you clear the error message on qualified charitable contributions?

When asked how much IRA distribution was donated to charity, I answer with $61,000. I then get an error message that says the amount cannot exceed $100,000 and the screen does not allow me to "continue" or go "back".

Try clicking on a selection in the left-side window, and go thru the entry of that 1099-R again.

Be careful not to hit the comma key anywhere.

A $61k QCD works OK in the Desktop software....not sure about the Online software.

I've had this same problem 3 years in a row with the online version. Apparently, the screen view is different in the desktop version because your fix isn't obvious in the online version. I tried repeatedly doing nothing different each time and it finally worked. I can't figure out why it gets hung up. It's a bug in the system which they haven't got around to fixing. One would think that they would monitor issues in this forum and deal with them in due course.
