How do you change the adjusted cost basis of the home in the calculations of the home office expense deduction?
You edit the cost basis of your home:
- Type sch c in the search box and click search.
- Click on Jump to sch c.
- Edit the business.
- Scroll down to Business Expenses: Home Office Expense.
- Continue through all the screens, past the Depreciation for your home office screen.
- Continue with the onscreen interview until you get to the Cost of Your Home screen and edit the amount(s).
