If you have an ItsDeductible account your entries will be automatically saved.  You can close ItsDeductible before you import into Turbotax, or you can leave it open, it won't matter. 

Go back to your Turbotax form, you will find a line that says "Import from ItsDeductible Online" and select the blue button aligned to the right of that.  TT will sign you onto ItsDeductible even if you are already signed in, then Turbotax will automatically import your deductions into the correct categories.

Once you verify that the numbers are correct in TT (they will be) you can close ItsDeductible.
