How do I show HSA distributions when I did not contribute to the account in 2017?

Enter the Form 1099-SA for distributions from your HSA funds. You don't have to make any contributions to do this. Type 'HSA' in the search box, then select the 'jump to' link.

You will land on the HSA summary page. Select Edit and indicate that you have a HSA, then continue to enter your 1099-SA Form.

If you know you used your HSA and have not received the Form 1099-SA, contact your plan administrator to get this form.
