How do I enter to amount paid for each childcare provider?

Please follow the steps below to enter the amount paid to each of your child care providers in 2016.

To Childcare Provider Costs in TurboTax Online:

1. Go to "Federal Taxes" at the top of the screen

2. Select "Deductions & Credits"

3. Scroll down to "You and Your Family" and select "Show More"

4. Select "Start" next to "Child and Dependent Care Credit"

5. Select "Yes" to "Did you pay for child or dependent care in 2016?"

6. Select "Continue" past the dependents and providers page

7. When asked "Pick a dependent and a provider, and tell us how much you paid." enter the amount paid in 2016

NOTE: You can also add additional providers to enter their amount paid also
