How do I enter the amount of sales tax I paid for my car lease?

If you itemize your deductions, you can claim general sales tax paid in lieu of state income tax.

Login to your TurboTax online account
Click Take me to my return or pick up where I left off
In the search box (located in the upper right hand corner), type in sales tax
Click the Jump to Sales Tax link that appears in the search results
This will take you to the area of TurboTax that addresses Sales Tax.
