How do I enter the amount of sales tax I paid for my car lease?

If you itemize your deductions, you can claim general sales tax paid in lieu of state income tax.

• Login to your TurboTax online account
• Click Take me to my return or pick up where I left off
• In the search box (located in the upper right hand corner), type in sales tax
• Click the Jump to Sales Tax link that appears in the search results
• This will take you to the area of TurboTax that addresses Sales Tax.
