How do I enter income from a foreign company without a 1099-MISC?

I've asked them for information like an identification number, but they haven't replied. Are they supposed to give me this information?

Without knowing all the details of the foreign company, I can't tell you whether it needs to issue 1099-MISC forms. Regardless, you have to claim the self-employment income and you don't need to have a 1099-MISC form to do that. 

See the following instructions to claim your self-employment income: 

• Type Schedule C in the Search box and then select the Jump to link. This will take you to where you can enter any cash, personal checks, credit card payments, or cryptocurrency (Form 1099-K) related to your self-employment. 
• You may first be asked some general questions about your business. After you answer them, you’ll be taken to the Let's enter the income for (your line of work) screen where you can enter this income as Other self-employed Income.
