There are 2 places that you need to enter that it was a foreign rental.

  1. Enter rental (schedule e) in the search box at the top of your screen and click Jump to
  2. You will see your Rental Summary page
  3. On that screen, click on Update next to Property Profile
  4. On the screen, Is This a Rental Property or royalty? Click Rental and click that the location is Foreign Country and enter the address
  5. A few screens later, you see the screen, Is Your Property in Any of These Designated Areas? , click on the first answer that Assets for this property are located outside of the US... also click that All of these assets for this property are located outside the US (question appears after you check the box that it was located outside the US).
