How do I deduct Mileage for Work?
I would like to fill out the form that helps write off mileage for work. I was under the influence that Schedule A and a 2106-EZ were the forms to fill out but I do not see the option.

How do I deduct Mileage for Work?
You are correct.
Job-related expenses (Form 2106) are subject to the 2% rule and you must take the itemized deduction instead of the standard deduction. TurboTax automatically figures which deduction is going to give you the biggest tax break. This is not a refundable credit. You can deduct the amount that was not reimbursed to you.
To enter job-related expenses (Form 2106):
- Open (continue) your return if it's not already open.
- Click on Orange box “Take me to my return”
- In the Search box (top right-hand corner), type “2106’
- Click on the Magnifying Glass icon or hit Enter
- Click on “Jump to 2106” link high-lighted in Blue.
- Answer the Step-by-step instructions.
Beginning on Jan. 1, 2016, the standard mileage rates for the use of a car (also vans, pickups or panel trucks) will be: 54 cents per mile for business miles driven
