No, you do not need to start your return over to correct adding an HSA to your return.

To delete an HSA:

1. Sign In or Open TurboTax.

2. Select "Take me to my return" (Online).

3. Select "Search" or "Help" icon.

4. Type "HSA" and select "Jump to HSA"

5. Select " None of the above" on the "Tell us about the health-related accounts you had in 2017" screen and press continue.

OR

  • From the Menu select: Tax Tools>Tools>Delete a form.
  • Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet and follow the onscreen instructions.
