How do I add personal HSA contributions? I don't ever get prompted when going through the Deductions > Medical > HSA and MSA contributions. I had an HDHP in 2025.

Here are the steps I took: 1. Click on the Deductions & Credits section 2. Select Deductions and credits summary 3. Expand the 'Medical' section 4. HSA and MSA contributions displays and the button says 'Revisit. Click on this button 5. Proceed to follow the prompts. Below are the prompts and my answers: Select the health-related accounts you had in 2025 [I selected Health Savings Account (HSA)] Did you use your Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for anything in 2025? [No] Was Mike covered by a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) in 2025? [Yes] Do any of these situations apply to Mike? [Did not select any options] What type of HDHP coverage did Mike have during 2025? [ covered by a Self only plan every month of the year] Let's review what type of coverage Mike had in 2024 [Self plan for every month] Your HSA Summary

The Health Savings Account (HSA) section of TurboTax includes information about contributions to the HSA.   Follow these steps: 

• Go to the Deductions & Credits section.
• Scroll down to the HSA, MSA section.
• Click Start or Update to the right.
• Be sure to check the box that you have an HSA account
• At the screen Let's enter your HSA contributions, the second entry box allows you to report contributions personally made.

Thanks for the steps. I had tried that but it was not providing an option to update. I ended up resolving the issue by starting over by going to Tax Tools > Tools > Clear & Start Over.

It was only after starting over that I was finally prompted to add my personal HSA contributions when I went through the steps you provided.
