How can I take the standard medical deduction after I have entered itemized medical expenses?

It said it is better to take the standard but did not give me the option of choosing it.  When I review, it still have my itemized medical expenses listed.

I assume you mean the Standard Deduction, as there is no "Standard Medical Deduction."  TT will give you the better of Standard or Itemized.  But leave your medical expenses in there, as they may transfer over to State and benefit you there.

Thank you!!!  Feel like I should have figured that out, but there are some strange changes this year.  This is exactly why I love this community!
