How can I correct property tax. When I go to edit I can only add additional tax

If you're entering property taxes on your federal income tax return, I tried to recreate your entry issue using TurboTax Premier Online. When I edit my property taxes, I get the Enter the property taxes you paid in 2021 screen and I'm able to change the amount.

Please clear your cookies and your cache. You may have to reboot your computer, also.

Note: You can deduct property (real estate) taxes paid on your main home, a second home, a third home, timeshares, or any other real property that wasn't used for business or rental.

Or....was it paid from your Mortgage escrow. IF listed on your 1098 from the mortgage company, then, instead you'd go in and edit the Home Mortgage entry and enter/change it as part of that form's entries.
