Homeowner casualty loss

My water heater broke causing water damage in my home.Insurance covered the repairs except for my $2,000 deductible cost and replacement cost of my water heater.  Can I show the deductible cost on my taxes?

Unfortunately no. The casualty loss deduction for this type of casualty loss was eliminated for 2018-2015 with the new tax law.
