As long as the windows were installed during 2025 you are eligible for the credit based on the full amount of the expense. It doesn’t matter that they are not fully paid for. Only the cost of the windows and not labor to install them is applicable. You should have the manufacturers’s ID number certifying that the windows meet the energy efficient requirements.
