Home energy credit incorrect for 2018

My 2019 Federal return shows a Home energy credit of $2604 for 2018.  I did not have a home energy credit for 2018.  How do I remove it?

Did you claim Energy credit prior to 2018?

If you did and you didn't take the full credit that year because your tax liability was 0, you will carry forward to future years the unused credit. 

The Energy Credit is a nonrefundable credit, it will decrease the amount of tax you owe but can't be used to increase your tax refund .

My 2019 federal return showed a Home Energy Credit for 2018.  I did not have a HEC for 2018.  How do I get rid of it.

The free turbotax guy could not get into my computer with the codes that popped up.  He switched me over to the turbotax droids and they wanted money to have a CPA fix a program error.  I don't think so!

After kicking around the program I finally found the button that cancelled all my inputs and allowed me to start 

all over again on the 2019 return.  Magic, the Home Energy credit for 2018 was gone!!
