Hi..question.If we have a roomate and the amount paid goes towards utilites, mortgage, cleaning supplies etc for the home it is considered shared expenses and u do not calim on taxes correct. There is no profit.

Yes, that would be shared expenses from a roommate and there would be no need to report it on a tax return.
