Hi. My sons girlfriend has been living with us for tax year 2016. Shes been giving me 250 a month for expenses such as groceries and to help with utilites.
She's claiming that she pays rent. Do I have to claim as income? Its around $3000.

Yes, it's over $600 you have to claim it as income.
