Previous posts suggest 1) Check interview and checking box to use address from Federal Information Worksheet. Tried both but address fields in 17d continue to blank out entered data and return to pink fill color.
Any other ideas would be gratefully received.

I got the same error today. Tried to manually input it in FORM mode but address got blanked out every time. I think it is a bug because the message said "Line 17b must be entered", and yet, the address field is listed under line 17d. I hope Turbo Tax, Intuit, will fix this soon.
This issue related to the address field in Form 5695, Residential Energy Credits is under investigation for both TurboTax Online and TurboTax Desktop.

Mine is still showing an error. We have updated and deleted an re entered the information. When is this update going to be pushed out?
We in community don't know the software developers schedule. I recommend that you sign up for updates here.
The program needs to address the problem by directing the address to line 17d nor 17 b when doing smart check. Please correct this issue soon. Than you.
We’re currently working on an update for Form 5695. There will be an update on March 13. After this day you can go back through your return, and make any changes as needed, then file your return. If you are using TurboTax Online the program updates automatically.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop make sure all updates have been run on your program. You can do this by clicking on "Online" in the black bar across the top of your TurboTax screen. And then select "Check for Updates".
