Form 8911 will not compute credit. Almost every line says reserved for future use and it does not compute the credit when the amount for a charging station is entered.

I have the exact same problem. I cannot find an answer for 2018, or when the form will be available.

If you look at the About...  help for the 8911 you'll see that The Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit expired for years after 2017. You are still allowed to enter your data but it won't calculate unless the credit is extended by Congress and that hasn't happened yet.
