Form 1116 Foreign Tax Credit

I have foreign taxes totally over $300.  They are from multiple countries.  Turbotax Deluxe allows me to list the countries, but when I go to fill in the amounts, it only lets me fill in the amount from 1 country before erasing it all and starting over.  I used to be able to go to form 1116 and fill it in manually.  I don't know how to do that now.  I've been a loyal customer for years, but perhaps it's time for a change.

You may group these countries into one entry by entering "various". This is acceptable by the IRS and negates the need to report these one country at a time.

It's true if your total foreign tax paid is less than $300 ($600 MFJ).  

I cannot find any reference that says it's acceptable for amounts over $600, which mine are.

I figured out, after hours of looking, how to force it to work.
