Form 1099-B Worksheet appears

Dear All:

I'm using TT Home & Business for my tax return 2020. Almost at the end in the Personal section the Form 1099-B Worksheet pops up and needs to be filled out. I assume this happens, because I sold my rental condo in 2020. I don't know, what and how to fill it out - could somebody please help me?

If you sold your condo it is a capital asset and it does get posted similar to a stock.

The basic information you will need is:

• When did you purchase the property?
• When did you sell it?
• How much did you pay for it (Including Improvements)?
• How much did you sell it for (less selling expenses)?
• There may be questions to split the land from the structures.  This is because land is not depreciated.
