Hello,
I moved to the United Kingdom during 2016 on a 3 year work visa as a teacher here. I'm planning on being in the country for the duration of this year and the following. I realize I must claim the income that I've earned here however I would like to exclude this as I am paying taxes for the U.K.
Based on what I've seen on the "helpful hint" dialogue boxes. I must be residing in the country for at least 330 days. This would mean that I must wait until July to file my taxes as I came in August last year. Is there any way to exclude this income in my filing without filing for an extension?
