The amount contributed to your HSA is reported in box 12 of your form W-2 with code W.

Amounts shown in box 12 of your W-2 are to be entered only in box 12 of TurboTax's W-2 form, nowhere else in TurboTax.  Each one present in box 12 of your W-2 is to be entered separately on TurboTax's W-2 form.  Contributions made through your employer are considered to be employer contributions, not personal contributions.

thanks but that really doesn't answer my question. I figured it out. It was asking if I contributed money more than was was listed on my W-2 in Box 12

As dmertz said, once you enter your W-2 with its code W in box W (all box 12s are equal, go by the letter code), you don't enter this amount anywhere else on your return.

So please tell us the title of the screen on which you are being asked for the amount from Box 12, so that we can exactly explain what was meant by this question.
