For the Clean vehicle credit, do you still have to delete form 8936 everytime you restart TurboTax for 2025. Looks like this was a known bug for 2024. I'm not sure why mine reverts to 0 every time I load my return.

This issue is reported as resolved, although since it only affected some users, results may be inconclusive.  Have you tried a Manual Update?

Thanks for responding. It's been doing regular updates when I log in and I did check the manual update last night and it was not there. I'm not sure if it helps, but it doesn't remove the whole credit on restart, just most of it.

It sounds like there may be an issue that requires that you clear your cache and cookies.  The system doesn't know to restart properly if those are there sometimes.

Here's how to clear your cache.

Here's how to delete your cookies.

After you've done that restart the computer and give it a whirl.  The software shouldn't be clearing the 5695 credit at all so see if that fixes it.
