I have a salvation army spreadsheet I used to determine the fair market value of items I am donating. Is there anything that I need to get from Goodwill/Salvation Army to go along with my tax deductions? I know to get a receipt, but do I need a signature or anything more official on their end? I know I will need to do an 8382 form with my taxes. My donation will be about $850 in value that I will be claiming on my return this year.
Thank you!

I think the rules are that if you make multiple separate non cash contributions to the same charity of less than $500 each but aggregate more than that, the reporting is if the contribution was a single one of more than $500. (2017 quidance)
You can see the requirements for the acknowledgement you receive from the charitable organization on pp. 18-19 of IRS Pub. 526: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p526.pdf
There are also some things that you must enter on form 8382 if any of the separate donations were more than $500. These are described on p.19 of the Pub. 526.
