For 1) above, the page shows: Let's review what type of coverage XXX had in 2024 Tell us what type of (HDHP) coverage you had for each month of 2024. If you were covered by High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) and a non-HDHP plan during the same month, select None.

If your HSA interview is working correctly (early in tax season, it had some hiccups), the appearance of the screens asking about HDHP coverage in 2024 means that you did not have HDHP coverage for every month in 2025, so TurboTax needs to check if you used the last-month rule in 2024, which would have required you to maintain HDHP coverage for every month in 2025.

If you missed HDHP coverage for one or more months in 2025, just answer the 2024 questions, and TurboTax will take care of you.

unless turbotax has fixed an earlier issue where answering yes to having HDHP coverage for every month in 2024 still generated an error if you didn't have HDHP coverage for every month in 2025 i would recommend st leaving the 2024 questions blank.  In other words, answering the 2024 questions is only needed if you used the LMR rule in 2024.
